2026 Learnerships – Sasol, Busamed & DRDGOLD – 15‑19 June

South African youth who are looking for work should act now – the Learnership Programmes 2026 are open across the country and the deadlines are fast approaching.

What’s on offer

Six organisations are advertising learnerships in fields such as chemicals, construction, administration, plant production and engineering. All positions are paid, lead to a recognised qualification and provide on‑the‑job training.

Who can apply

  • Must be South African citizen.
  • Must be unemployed youth (typically 18‑35 years old).
  • Specific programmes may require you to live in a certain province or district.
  • You need a valid ID and South African bank account.
  • Some learnerships require a minimum grade 12 pass or relevant experience.

What you will gain

  • Earn a salary while you study.
  • Earn an NQF‑registered qualification (Level 3–4).
  • Develop skills that are in demand in industry.
  • Improve your employability after the learnership ends.

How to apply – step by step

  1. Read the full description of the learnership you are interested in.
  2. Check the eligibility criteria carefully.
  3. Gather the required documents (ID, proof of residence, academic certificates, CV).
  4. Save the official application link for the programme.
  5. Fill in the online form before the closing date.
  6. Upload all documents in the requested format (PDF is safest).
  7. Submit the application and keep a screenshot of the confirmation.
