Bokoni Platinum Mines 2026 Graduate Internships – Apply by 19 June

Bokoni Platinum Mines is now calling for South African graduates who are currently unemployed to apply for its Internship Opportunities 2026. The deadline is fast approaching – you have until 19 June 2026 to submit your application, so act now.

What the internship programme offers

Bokoni Platinum Mines, part of African Rainbow Minerals, will host a range of graduate internships on the Eastern Limb of the Bushveld Complex, Limpopo. The placements are for one graduate per discipline and cover:

  • Human Resources
  • Mining
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Geology
  • Mine Survey
  • Social Performance

Each role is designed to give you hands‑on exposure to daily operations within the mining sector.

Who can apply – eligibility and minimum qualifications

These internships are open to South African graduates who have completed their qualifications and are currently unemployed. Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria for the specific field they choose:

Human Resources (1 position)

  • Advanced Diploma, BCom or any recognised qualification in Human Resource Management or Development

Mining (1 position)

  • BSc or BEng Mining Engineering – qualification must be fully completed

Mechanical Engineering (1 position)

  • BSc, BEng or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – qualification must be fully completed

Electrical Engineering (1 position)

  • BSc, BEng or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering – qualification must be fully completed

Geology (1 position)

  • BSc Geological Sciences, BSc Earth Sciences or a related completed qualification
  • Additional advantage: registration with SACNASP

Mine Survey (1 position)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mine Survey or Advanced Diploma in Mining Engineering – qualification must be fully completed

Social Performance (1 position)

  • BA Development Studies, Advanced Diploma in Public Administration or any related completed qualification

Preference will be given to applicants from the local communities of Baroka Ba Nkoana, Maesela Manotoane, Roko Selepe and Fetakgomo Tubatse. People living with disabilities are also encouraged to apply.
