What the apprenticeship is
Volkswagen Group Africa, through its Technical Learning Academy, offers full‑time technical apprenticeships. The training runs for 3 or 4 years, depending on the trade you choose.
Who can apply

Minimum requirements
To be eligible you must have either:
- Grade 12 / Technical Matric with a pass in Core Mathematics (or Technical Mathematics) and Physical Science (or Engineering Science). Mathematics Literacy is not acceptable.
- At least N3 / NTC3 level with four subjects, including Core Mathematics and Physical Science.
Higher technical qualifications may also be considered if they match the advertised entry route.
Programme conditions
- Overtime is not permitted during the apprenticeship unless you receive written authorisation.
- You may not enrol in additional studies that require attendance during normal working hours, unless the study is part of the apprenticeship.

- Certified copy of your South African ID (no older than three months).
- Certified copy of your highest school or college qualification (no older than three months).
