What the programme is

GAP is a graduate programme run by Old Mutual South Africa. It is designed to spot and develop future leaders for the company’s various business units. You will work on real projects, receive on‑the‑job training, and be mentored by experienced staff.

Who can apply

You must be a South African citizen who will have completed an Honours degree (or equivalent) by the end of 2026. You also need a minimum average of 65 % in the last two years of study.

Graduate Trainee – Internal Auditor (Technology and Cyber Risk)

  • Commerce, Engineering, Science or related fields such as Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Analytics.

Graduate Trainee – Internal Auditor (General Internal Audit)

  • Any recognised undergraduate degree (e.g., BCom, BBusSci, BA) that provides a solid foundation in business, finance or related subjects.

Graduate Trainee – Internal Auditor (OM Insure)

  • Law, Insurance, Risk Management or similar disciplines.

Graduate Trainee – Internal Auditor (PF Life & Customer)

  • Finance (BCom or BBusSci), Auditing (internal or external) or related fields.
