You’ll report to the Senior Manager of IT, learning all about the systems that keep the organization running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Keep the IT network and computers in good shape, especially those running Microsoft Windows.
- Help maintain cloud services and Microsoft SQL databases that the MQA uses.
- Be the first line of help for staff who have computer problems. That includes setting up laptops, installing email, fixing viruses, and resetting passwords.
- Troubleshoot printers and network problems.
- Support security tasks such as backing up data, managing firewalls, and finding and fixing vulnerabilities.
- Give remote help to offices that are far from the head office.
- Install software and run simple training sessions for users.
- Help with general office and IT admin work.
- Work on a big project called IMIS/ERP, coordinating business analysis and project tasks.
What You Need
- A Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
- A National Diploma or a level‑6 qualification in IT or a related field.
- A bachelor’s degree or level‑7 qualification in IT is a plus, but not required.
