Metropolitan Tech Company is opening its Internship Opportunities 2026/2027 for South African graduates, and the deadline is fast approaching. If you need real‑world experience in Johannesburg, this could be the chance you’ve been waiting for.

What the internship is

Metropolitan Tech Company will run an internship programme of up to 18 months. It is designed for graduates who have little or no work experience in their field of study. The programme will start in 2026 and continue into 2027.

Who can apply

  • South African citizens aged 18 to 35.
  • Graduates with a relevant degree or diploma (details for each role are listed below).
  • No previous internships or formal employment in the same discipline.
  • Must provide a clear, certified CV, qualification copies and ID.

Network Support Intern

Required: BCom in IT or Operations Management.

Tasks: Troubleshoot network issues, monitor and repair events, and learn routing, switching and fibre‑optic technologies.

Business Development Intern

Required: Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing Management, or IT.

Tasks: Conduct market research, analyse data, support the Business Development team and write reports.

Required: Degree or Diploma in Risk Management or Internal Audit.

Tasks: Identify risks, maintain treatment plans, review controls, analyse data and support risk workshops.

Required: Three‑year qualification in Internal Auditing.
