What the opportunity is
The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programme is a paid placement that lasts 18 months. It is run by Gert Sibande TVET College together with MICT SETA. You will be placed with a host organisation in the Gert Sibande region of Mpumalanga and will get hands‑on experience in business‑related roles.
Who can apply
- Graduate of Gert Sibande TVET College
- Completed N4, N5 and N6 in Marketing Management or Business Management
- Age 18‑35 years
- Currently unemployed
- No criminal record
- Fluent in English
- Not studying or enrolled in another learnership during the 18 months
- Never taken part in a SETA‑funded WIL programme before

How to apply – step by step
- Gather the required documents:
- Updated CV
- Certified copy of your ID (originally certified, not older than 6 months)
- Certified copies of your Matric, NCV (levels 2‑4) and N4‑N6 certificates
- If you are volunteering, a recent stamped letter confirming your status
- Choose your submission method:
- Email: send all PDFs to jobplacement.int2@gscollege.edu.za. Use the subject line Application for MICT SETA Funded WIL Programme 2026 – Your Full Name.
- Hand‑delivery: place all documents in an envelope, write your name, contact details and “WIL Programme 2026” on the front, and drop it at the Student Support Services Office / Career Guidance & Job Placement centre on any Gert Sibande TVET College campus.
