What the learnership offers

This is a fixed‑term learnership that trains you to become a Basic Pharmacist Assistant. You will work in a real pharmacy, study for registration with the South African Pharmaceutical Council (SAPC) and, if you succeed, you could be offered a permanent role at Dis‑Chem.

You must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Matric (Grade 12) certificate
  • Mathematics (Pure) as a subject
  • Physical Science or Life Science as a subject
  • At least 50 % overall average
