South Africa’s tech sector is booming, and the window to get hands‑on digital skills opens now with the Future Tech Explorers: Emerging Technologies Digital Skills Training Opportunities 2026. What the programme offers

SITA (State Information Technology Agency) and NEMISA (National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa) are running a free, intensive digital‑skills training from 21 July to 24 July 2026. The first three days are held in person at SITA Erasmuskloof, Pretoria East, and the final day is delivered online.

Who can apply

  • South African youth aged 18–35
  • Matric or higher qualification
  • Interest in emerging technologies
  • Available for the whole period: 21‑24 July 2026

Both recent school leavers and graduates, as well as unemployed youth looking to up‑skill, are encouraged to apply.

How to apply – step by step
