The College of Cape Town is offering a 12‑month, full‑time program that trains you in the fast‑growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and contact‑centre industry. At the end of the year you’ll hold a recognised NQF Level 3 certificate and have hands‑on experience that employers are looking for right now. The program runs every weekday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Gardens Campus in Cape Town, and you’ll also receive a travel allowance to help cover your daily commute.

Who is the College of Cape Town?

The College of Cape Town is a public technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institution. It works with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to deliver courses that match what companies need. The college’s focus is on producing graduates who can find jobs quickly, and its programs are accredited by a recognized sector education and training authority (SETA). That means the training is up to date with industry standards and you’ll be ready for work when you finish.

What the Learnership Looks Like

Job title: Contact Centre & Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Support
Level: NQF Level 3, which is the same as a Grade 10 qualification in South Africa.
Duration: 12 months, full time
Location: Gardens Campus, Cape Town
Stipend: A travel allowance to help cover transportation costs

You’ll learn how to handle customer calls, manage data, and support other business processes that help companies run smoothly. The course is split into classroom learning and practical work in a real contact‑centre setting. By the end of the 12 months you’ll have a clear resume and a certificate that shows you’re ready for a career in this growing sector.
