AgriSETA Skills Planning & Research Internship – 2026
If you are a recent graduate in South Africa who wants to learn real‑world skills in the agriculture industry, AgriSETA is opening five internship spots in its Skills Planning & Research division. The role is based in Pretoria and lasts 24 months. What the job is about
As a Skills Planning & Research Intern, you will help keep AgriSETA’s databases accurate and up to date. You will also create reports, look at data trends, and support everyday admin tasks. The internship is a great way to see how a major agricultural training body operates while developing your own skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook. You will report directly to the Assistant Manager of Skills Planning & Research and may shadow people in other departments, giving you a broader view of the organization.

What you’ll do
Data Capturing
- Keep the AgriSETA database current and run quality checks.
- Produce weekly data summaries and quarterly SETMIS reports.
- Pull payment reports from Indicium and compile management reports.
- Spot trends in the data and help verify learner records.
Data Management
- Build and maintain datasets that other parts of the company use for reporting.
Administration
- Handle basic office tasks and support the division’s day‑to‑day needs.
Other duties
- Assist with any extra assignments that the Assistant Manager assigns.
Who can apply
You need a National Diploma (N6) or a comparable qualification in:
- Office Administration
- Office Management
- A related field
