Who can apply?
To be eligible you need:
- A newly completed Bachelor’s degree in ICT
- Outstanding tuition that stops you from getting your final diploma
- A minimum average score of 70 %
- South African citizenship
- Either an EE/AA status or a disability – both are welcomed
Which degrees are covered?
The bursary will help with these courses:
- BSc in Information Technology
- BSc in Computer Science
- BSc in Information Systems
- Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
- Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences – Application Development
- Bachelor of Data Engineering
- Any other ICT‑related degree
What documents you’ll need
All documents must be in PDF format and certified within the last three months.
- Updated CV
- Copy of your South African ID, certified in the past three months
- Proof of income for you or a parent/guardian – payslips, bank statements or a letter from an employer, also certified in the past three months
- Copy of the parent/guardian ID, certified in the past three months
- Latest academic record with the university’s stamp, certified within three months
- Evidence of the unpaid tuition – a statement of account
- Bank details of the institution that issued the tuition statement
All documents must show the university’s official stamp. Missing anything may cause your application to be rejected.
