Waterberg TVET College and ETDP SETA are calling unemployed South African youth to apply for the Internship Opportunities 2026. The deadline is 17 July 2026 at 14:00. This is a chance to earn a R6 000 monthly stipend while you gain real work experience.
What the internship offers
Waterberg TVET College, together with the Education, Training and Development Practices (ETDP) SETA, will run a 24‑month internship programme in Limpopo. There are five paid posts in the following fields:
- Information Technology (2 posts)
- Public Administration, Business Management and Management Assistant (2 posts)
- Human Resources (1 post)
Each intern will receive a stipend of R6 000 per month.
Who can apply
You must be unemployed and hold one of the qualifications listed for the specific field. General eligibility:
- South African citizen
- Unemployed at the time of application
- Completed the required qualification (Grade 12, NCV Level 4, or a relevant diploma, advanced or occupational certificate)
- Not previously participated in an ETDP SETA internship
Information Technology (Reference WTVET 2026/05/06)
Two positions. NQF Level 6. Placement at the Engineering and Skills Training Centre, Lebowakgomo Campus, and the central office.
Required qualifications:
- Grade 12
- NCV Level 4
- Diploma, Advanced Certificate or Occupational Certificate in Information Technology
Public Administration, Business Management & Management Assistant (Reference WTVET 2026/07)
Two positions. NQF Level 6. Placement at the central office in Mokopane.
Required qualifications:
- Grade 12
- NCV Level 4
- Diploma, Advanced Certificate or Occupational Certificate in the relevant field
Human Resources (Reference WTVET 2026/08)
One position. NQF Level 6. Placement at the Thabazimbi Campus.
Required qualifications:
- Grade 12
- NCV Level 4
- Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Human Resources
