Mining Engineering Bursary
For final‑year Mining Engineering students who plan to do Honours in 2027. The required qualification is a BSc Engineering in Mining Engineering. A 65 % average and full academic transcript are needed.
Geotechnical and Rock Engineering Bursary (1 spot)
Open to final‑year Mining Engineering or Geology students who intend to specialise in Geotechnical or Rock Engineering and pursue Honours in 2027. Applicants need a 65 % average, full transcript and later proof of Honours acceptance.
Geomatics and Mine Surveying Bursary (4 spots)
Two pathways are offered:
- Grade‑12 learners who will start university in 2027
- Final‑year undergraduates who will start Honours in 2027
Eligible qualifications are BSc Engineering in Surveying or BTech in Mine Surveying. All applicants must meet the 65 % average and provide the required documents.
