What the internship is
Uplands Preparatory School, an independent co‑educational school in White River, Mpumalanga, is looking for four energetic interns for its 2027 Sports & Academic Programme. You will spend a full day each week supporting teachers, coaching sports and taking part in cultural activities.
Who can apply
The role is open to South African students who are in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of study, or who are working towards a BEd, PGCE or a similar teaching qualification at a South African university.
- Provide proof of your year‑end exam results.
- Be a South African citizen with a clear Criminal Clearance Certificate.
- Be able to work well with others, assist in classrooms and coach a range of sports.
- Experience in an ISASA‑registered school and with the IEB curriculum is an advantage.
- Previous boarding‑house experience is also beneficial.
