Toyota Boshoku South Africa is looking for unemployed South African graduates to join its Graduate Trainee Programme 2026. The deadline is 22 May 2026, and the placement is in Durban, KwaZulu‑Natal.

What the programme offers

This is a 24‑month, structured graduate trainee programme in automotive manufacturing. You will get practical work experience and technical exposure that match your engineering degree.

Who can apply

You must meet all of the following:

  • South African citizen
  • Completed a NQF Level 8 degree in one of the listed fields (see below)
  • Not currently enrolled in another graduate programme
  • Never taken part in a graduate development programme before

Eligible fields of study

  • BSc Mechanical Engineering – 3 places (includes Mechatronic)
  • BSc Chemical Engineering – 1 place
  • BEng/BSc Industrial Engineering – 2 places
  • BSc Information Engineering – 1 place
  • BEng/BSc Electrical Engineering – 1 place (includes Electronic)
