What’s on offer?
The SITA Internship Programme is a 12‑month, paid experience for unemployed South African graduates. You’ll earn a monthly stipend of R7 800 while learning the ins and outs of government ICT work. If you perform well, there’s a real possibility of being absorbed into a permanent, critical role at SITA after the internship.
Who can apply?
To qualify you must meet all of the following:
- South African citizen, unemployed, aged 18‑35
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree, 3‑year National Diploma or a qualification at NQF Level 6 or above
- No prior work experience is required
- Not a previous SITA learnership or internship participant
Priority is given to applicants who live in the provinces where posts are available. Special consideration is also given to people living with disabilities and to white, coloured and Indian applicants, in line with SITA’s employment equity plan.
What you’ll gain
During the internship you’ll:
