What the Job Is About
If you’re a South African teen who is still looking for a job, this post is for you. The South Bank Vault (SBV) is looking for unemployed young people with disabilities to join a new training program called the Cash Processor Learnership 2026. The program will let you learn how banks handle cash, give you a real job for a year, and finish with a certification that is recognized all over the country.
When and Where
- Start date: You can sign up as soon as you can. Check your local job board for the exact closing date for your province.
- Locations: The training happens in many cash centers across South Africa – from Gauteng to KwaZulu‑Natal, the Western and Eastern Cape, and more. If you live near a city such as Pretoria, Durban, or Polokwane, you might be able to work close to home.
- Length of the program: 12 months. You’ll be on a full‑time contract for the entire year.
Why This Is a Good Chance
- You’ll get hands‑on experience in a cash‑processing environment.
- The program covers all costs – you don’t pay for classes or travel.
- At the end of the year, you’ll earn a SAQA‑registered Certificate in Banking, which is a Level 5 qualification that many employers respect.

- Be unemployed and ready to work full time for a whole year.
What You’ll Learn

- Process cash in a bank setting, learning how to manage money accurately.
- Complete a formal course that is registered with SAQA.
- Build skills in problem solving, clear communication, time management, teamwork, and basic resource handling.
What the Qualification Is
When you finish, you will receive:
- Title: Further Education and Training Certificate – Banking
- SAQA ID: 20185
