SASSA TVET Work Integrated Learning & Internship 2026 Closing 12 June

Time is short – the SASSA TVET Work Integrated Learning and Internship Programme 2026 closes on 12 June 2026, and many South Africans need a chance to start a career in the public sector.

What the opportunity is

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is offering three types of positions in Limpopo:

  • Two permanent Grants Administrator posts
  • Eight Work‑Integrated Learning (WIL) placements for TVET graduates (up to 18 months)
  • Three 24‑month internships for degree, diploma, B‑Tech or LLB graduates

All roles are based in various districts of Limpopo, and the final day to apply is 12 June 2026.

Who can apply

Grants Administrator (2 posts)

  • Level 05, salary R237 453 – R279 708 per year (benefits excluded)
  • Location: Mopani District, Maruleng Local Office
  • Reference: SASLIM 06/05/2026
  • Must have a Matric (Senior Certificate) and an NQF Level 6 qualification in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Commerce, Social Sciences, Social Security, Law or IT
  • Computer literacy required; driver’s licence is an advantage

Work‑Integrated Learning (8 posts)

Open to TVET learners who have completed N6 studies and need workplace experience for a National Diploma.

  • Duration: up to 18 months
  • Stipend: R5 639.75 per month

  • Finance – 2 posts: N6 Financial Accounting or Financial Management
    Sekhukhune District (SAS LIM 05/2026), Limpopo Regional Office (SAS LIM 06/2026)
  • Grants Administration – 2 posts: N6 Operations Management, Public Management, Public Administration or Financial Accounting
    Waterberg, Mookgophong (SAS LIM 07/2026), Capricorn, Blouberg (SAS LIM 08/2026)

Internship Programme (3 posts)

  • Duration: 24 months
  • Stipend: R7 860.50 per month
  • All internships are based at the Limpopo Regional Office
  • Reference: SAS LIM 09/2026 (ICT), SAS LIM 10/2026 (Legal Services), SAS LIM 11/2026 (Fraud & Compliance)
  • Qualifications:
  • ICT – Degree, B‑Tech or National Diploma in Information Technology
  • Legal Services – Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • Fraud & Compliance – Degree, B‑Tech or National Diploma in Forensic Investigation or Compliance Management
