Who can apply – minimum requirements
To be considered you must have:
- Senior Certificate
- An undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6, recognised by SAQA, in one of these fields:
- Public Administration or Management
- Business Administration, Economics or Development Studies
- Finance, Accounting or Commerce
- Social Sciences, Social Security or Law
- Information Technology
- Good computer literacy
What you will do – duties and responsibilities
The successful candidates will support the administration of Social Grants at the local‑office level. Core tasks include:
- Screening and capturing grant applications
- Providing off‑site grant‑application services
- Co‑ordinating medical bookings and assessments
- Scanning, batching and processing grant files and documentation
- Performing routine grants‑administration functions
- Carrying out quality‑control checks on applications
- Ensuring compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act
