What the bursary offers

Who can apply

You are eligible if you meet all of the following:

  • You are currently enrolled at an accredited South African tertiary institution.
  • You are studying for one of these qualifications:
    • BSc Civil Engineering
    • BEng Civil Engineering
    • National Diploma in Civil Engineering
    • National Diploma in Construction
  • You want a career in civil construction.
  • You live in the Western Cape towns of Gouda, Saron, Tulbagh, or Porterville and can provide proof of address.
  • You have good problem‑solving skills, are comfortable with Microsoft Excel, and can work both in a team and on your own.
  • You are willing to travel to remote sites when needed.
