NW Dept Safety & Transport Grad Internship 2026/27 – Apply by 17 July

What is the programme?

The department has launched its Graduate Internship Programme for 2026/27. It is a 24‑month placement based at the head office in Mahikeng, North West. Interns receive a monthly stipend of R8 174.75. A total of 50 posts are available across a range of directorates.

  • South African citizens aged 18‑35.
  • Unemployed graduates who have completed their studies.
  • Holder of a relevant qualification for the specific post you are applying for.
  • Never participated in a government internship before.

Fields that are accepted include Law, ICT, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Accounting, Internal Auditing, Transport Management, Human Resources, Communications, Social Sciences and related areas.

  1. Download the official Z83 Application Form from the department’s website.
  2. Complete every field and sign the form.
