Tips to improve your chances

  • Proofread your Z83 form and CV. Errors can lead to disqualification.
  • Make sure any foreign qualification has a SAQA evaluation attached.
  • Follow the entry‑exam guidelines carefully; only candidates who pass move forward.
  • Prepare for the interview by reviewing the NPA Code of Conduct and policy directives.
  • Keep your email attachments un‑zipped and without passwords – the system will reject zip files.
  • Be ready for a security clearance (at least confidential level) and fingerprinting on interview day.
  • Know that the NPA will not cover relocation costs, so plan your move if you are placed in a different province.
