What the internship is

The North West Department of Education Internship Programme 2026/27 offers practical work experience in the public sector. It is designed for South Africans who have completed a TVET N6, diploma or degree but have not yet found permanent work.

Who can apply

  • South African citizens, aged 18 to 35.
  • Unemployed graduates or TVET N6 graduates.
  • Never taken part in a government department or SETA‑funded internship.
  • Willing to work in the district or office where you are placed.
