What the Nicasia & AON Bursary Is All About
If you’re a South African student looking for a way to pay for university and want a head start on a future career, this could be the chance you’ve been waiting for. Nicasia Holdings, together with the global firm AON, is offering a bursary for the 2026 academic year. This scholarship can cover up to R120 000 of your tuition, books, rent and a monthly allowance. It is aimed at students who need help with money and are studying subjects that help fill gaps in the country’s finance and engineering jobs.
Who Are We?

Which Subjects Do We Cover?

Who Can Apply?
You must meet every requirement below to be considered:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Have finished high school (Matric).
- Be studying in one of the approved subjects.
- Be registered at a recognised South African university or college.
- Need help with money – you can’t already be receiving a bursary.
If any of these conditions aren’t true, you won’t be able to apply.
How to Apply

- In your email, ask for the application form and any additional instructions.
- Once you receive the form, fill it out carefully and attach the required documents (see below).
- Return the completed form and documents by 23 January 2026 – after that date, we won’t take applications.
Documents You Need to Send
- A certified copy of your South African ID
- A certified copy of your Matric certificate
- Your 2025 transcripts or academic record
- Your CV (even if it’s simple)
Make sure your copies are clear and official; otherwise, we won’t consider your application. Missing or late documents will automatically disqualify you.
