What the internship is
The MRTT Graduate Internship Programme is a 24‑month, full‑time placement. It is funded by ETDP SETA and will take place in Emalahleni and Mbombela, Mpumalanga.
Stipends are R6 000 per month for NQF Level 6 posts and R7 500 per month for NQF Level 7 posts. All interns start on 01 October 2026.
Who can apply
You must hold a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and the relevant qualification for the role you choose.
- Finance Administrator – NQF 6 Finance National Diploma
- Human Resources & Administration – NQF 7 HR Management Degree or Advanced Diploma
- Legal Administrator – NQF 7 Legal Studies Degree or Advanced Diploma
- Project Management – NQF 7 Project Management Degree or Advanced Diploma
- Assessor: Hospitality/Culinary Studies (2 posts) – NQF 6 Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts Diploma (Facilitator/Assessor Certificate is a plus)
- Risk Management & Audit – NQF 6 Accounting, Internal Auditing or Risk Management qualification
