What the learnership offers
MTPA will place you in a practical role within the province’s tourism and park services. You will learn on the job, develop employable skills and receive a monthly stipend while you work.
Who can apply
- South African citizens, unemployed, aged 18‑35
- Resident of Mpumalanga (provide valid proof of residence)
- Completed Grade 12
- Not studying at a tertiary institution
- Not currently registered for or participating in another learnership
- Willing to work outdoors and do practical tasks
What you will gain

How to apply – step by step
- Gather the required documents:
- Cover letter stating the learnership you are applying for
- Updated CV
- Grade 12 certificate
- Copy of your ID
- Proof of residence (e.g., municipal bill)
- Print all documents. Do NOT send them by email.
- Hand‑deliver the complete file to the nearest MTPA station or nature reserve, **or** to the head office at:
