Who Can Apply?
You’ll need to meet a few basic requirements:
- A National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in one of the following: Tourism Management, Marketing, Local Economic Development, Business Administration, Investment Promotion, or a closely related subject.
- A valid Code B driver’s licence for manual cars.
- Fluency in at least two of the Western Cape’s three official languages.
- Comfort with computer tools, especially Microsoft Office.
- Never before worked as an intern in the public sector.
- A willingness to work extra hours when the job demands it.
What You’ll Do
The role lasts for one year and can be extended for another 12 to 24 months, but never more than three years in total. You’ll receive a monthly stipend of R9 274,85 to support you while you learn.
