Mossel Bay Municipality: 2026 PMU Internship for New Grads

  • Stipend: R9,274.85 each month

  • Preference: Applicants who live inside the Mossel Bay municipal area are given priority.

  • You should speak at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape (English, Afrikaans, isiXhosa, or isiNdebele).
  • You must be comfortable using computers, especially MS Office.
  • You should not have already worked as a public‑sector intern before.
  • Overtime work may be needed – be ready to help when projects demand it.

The Screening Process

If you pass the initial check, you might need to do:

  1. A written or practical test to see how well you understand project management basics.
  2. A driving skills test because you’ll be moving around the town to meet with other teams.
  3. A simple medical check to confirm you’re fit for the job.

Once you’re offered the internship, you’ll sign a written contract.
