Want a real job that gives you hands‑on skills and a good future? M‑TECH is looking for unemployed South African teens and young adults to join its Electrical and Fitter Apprenticeship Programme. This program gives you a mix of classroom learning and on‑the‑job training so you can start a career in engineering or manufacturing. It’s a great way to learn a trade that is in high demand in South Africa’s factories and construction sites.
Application deadline: Friday, 23 January 2026 at 12:00 pm
Training will take place at: M‑TEC, No. 1 Steel Road, Security Office (Safe‑box), South Africa
Think you’re a good fit? This apprenticeship is made for people who already like science or math and who want to see how those subjects work in a real factory or workshop. You’ll get to use real equipment, work with experienced technicians, and learn the secrets of wiring and metal fitting that keep modern machines running.
Who Runs M‑TEC?
M‑TEC Training is a company that focuses on giving young people the skills they need for jobs in engineering, manufacturing and industrial work. They run apprenticeship and training programs that match what businesses need. If you finish the program, you’ll have a certificate that shows you can work in a real job environment.
What Jobs Are Open?
Right now M‑TECH is hiring for two tracks, each with three spots:
- Electrical Apprenticeship – 3 positions
- Fitter Apprenticeship – 3 positions
Both tracks give you the theory you need and plenty of hands‑on practice. You’ll finish the program ready to start working or to move into a higher role later.
