What the internship involves

Joburg City Theatres (JCT) is offering a 12‑month Marketing Internship in its Client Services Department. You will work in a busy theatre setting and learn about digital marketing, communications, social media, content creation and audience engagement.

Who can apply

  • South African citizen, aged 18‑35
  • Unemployed graduate (including BTech, diploma or degree)
  • Matric (Grade 12) plus a recognised qualification in digital marketing, communications, social media marketing or a related field
  • Qualified at a recognised South African institution

Passion for theatre, storytelling and online engagement will give you an advantage.

What you will gain

  • Hands‑on experience in a real‑world marketing team
  • Skills in creating graphics (Canva/Adobe Express), photography and video
  • Understanding of audience behaviour and trends
  • Monthly stipend of R6 094.25
