Jump into a Real‑World Career with Growthpoint – Graduate Programme 2026 in Human Resources

If you just finished university and want to start a job that lets you learn fast, grow your skills, and help shape the future of real‑estate companies, Growthpoint is looking for you. In this first year of the 2026 Graduate Programme, you will work in South Africa’s biggest publicly‑listed real‑estate investment firm, called a REIT, based in the Sandton office in Johannesburg. The programme lasts 11 months and gives you a chance to see how the company runs, from property deals to people management, while you build a solid career in Human Resources (HR).

What the Programme Looks Like

Growthpoint owns more than 490 commercial, retail and industrial spaces across South Africa, Australia, and Eastern Europe. The company puts a big focus on doing business sustainably and making sure everyone gets a fair shot. In the graduate programme, you will get a front‑row seat to all of that action.

You’ll be on a structured schedule that lets you:

  • Work side‑by‑side with experienced HR leaders and senior managers.
  • Learn about different property types and the various parts of the business.
  • Take part in learning sessions that are tailored to your role.
  • Build contacts inside the company that will help you later.
  • Grow confidence, think strategically and pick up hands‑on skills that will make you a star employee.

A senior manager will mentor you for the whole year, giving advice and checking how you’re doing.

Where You’ll Work

Your main base will be the Growthpoint headquarters in Sandton, Johannesburg. On occasion you might visit other sites around South Africa if a project calls for it. This gives you a chance to see how the business operates on the ground.
