What the opportunity is

In partnership with the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA), Gert Sibande TVET College is offering 175 paid placements across the Gert Sibande region of Mpumalanga. There are two streams:

  • Graduate Internship Programme – 100 spots, 12 months long.
  • Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme – 75 spots, 18 months long.

Placements will be with a range of wholesale and retail companies operating locally. The deadline for applications is 20 July 2026 at 10:00 am.

Who can apply

All applicants must meet every point below:

  • Age between 18 and 35 years.
  • Unemployed and not currently studying.
  • A graduate of Gert Sibande TVET College.
  • Not involved in another internship, learnership or training programme.
  • Holding a qualification that matches the chosen stream.
  • Available for the full 12‑ or 18‑month period.

  4. Send your complete application either in person or by email to the contact person for that campus.
  5. Keep a copy of the envelope or the sent email as proof of submission.

  • Certified copies of NCV Level 2, 3 and 4 certificates (if applicable).
