What the opportunity is
In partnership with the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA), Gert Sibande TVET College is offering 175 paid placements across the Gert Sibande region of Mpumalanga. There are two streams:
- Graduate Internship Programme – 100 spots, 12 months long.
- Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme – 75 spots, 18 months long.
Placements will be with a range of wholesale and retail companies operating locally. The deadline for applications is 20 July 2026 at 10:00 am.
Who can apply
All applicants must meet every point below:
- Age between 18 and 35 years.
- Unemployed and not currently studying.
- A graduate of Gert Sibande TVET College.
- Not involved in another internship, learnership or training programme.
- Holding a qualification that matches the chosen stream.
- Available for the full 12‑ or 18‑month period.
