A 12‑month, fully funded internship is up for grabs in the Gert Sibande Region of Mpumalanga. If you finished the NCV Primary Agriculture course (NQF Levels 2–4) and are looking for a chance to work on real farms, this could be your next step. What is Gert Sibande TVET College?
Gert Sibande TVET College is a public technical and vocational school. It trains students in skills that the South African job market needs. The college partners with businesses and industry bodies to make sure that graduates can jump straight into work.
Who is AgriSETA?
AgriSETA is the skills authority for agriculture in South Africa. It runs training and work‑placement programmes that help young people find jobs in farming and agribusiness.
About the Internship Programme
This programme is made for people who have already finished their NCV Primary Agriculture studies. During the year you will be placed in a commercial farm within the Gert Sibande Region. You’ll learn everything from planting and harvesting to managing farm equipment. The internship is fully paid, so you won’t have to worry about expenses.

Who Can Apply?
You must meet all of these conditions:
- NCV Primary Agriculture graduate (Levels 2–4).
- Between 18 and 35 years old.
- Unemployed.
- Not currently studying or in another training program.
- No criminal record.
- Good command of English.
- Ready to work in a changing climate environment.
- Only graduates of Gert Sibande TVET College can apply.
What You Need to Send
- A recent Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Certified copies of your qualifications (Matric or NCV NQF Levels 2–4).
- A certified copy of your South African ID that is no more than six months old.
