What the internship is
The Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD) is offering a 24‑month internship. It is designed for graduates who want practical experience in the public sector.
Who can apply
- You must be a South African graduate who is currently unemployed.
- You need a National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Honours Degree from an accredited higher‑learning institution.
- You must not have taken part in a public‑service internship before.

- Complete the form in full.
- Prepare a detailed CV that matches the internship you want.
- Combine the completed Z83 form and your CV into ONE PDF file.
- Send the PDF to GDARDInternship@gauteng.gov.za. Put the correct reference number in the email subject line.
Do not send JPEGs or picture files. Certified copies of qualifications are only needed if you are shortlisted.
