EWSETA Internship Programme 2026 – Apply by 22 April Johannesburg

Need real work experience fast? The Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA) is opening its 2026 Internship Programme and the deadline is only a few weeks away.

What the internship is

EWSETA offers a 24‑month structured internship in the energy and water sectors. The placement is in Parktown, Johannesburg, South Africa. It gives you practical exposure that can finish a qualification and boost your employability.

Who can apply

You may apply if you meet one of the following:

  • University graduate
  • University of Technology graduate
  • TVET College student with a completed N6 certificate

Fields of study that are preferred include:

  • Public Management
  • Business Administration
  • Financial Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Marketing
  • ICT
  • Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Research
  • Legal Administration / Governance
  • Energy and Water‑related qualifications

How to apply – step by step

  1. Prepare an updated CV.
  2. Obtain certified copies of all your qualifications.

  5. Make sure you send it before 22 April 2026 (16:30). Late applications will not be considered.

    • Assist with MIS coordination
    • Help develop and certify systems
  • Marketing (2 posts)
    • Create content and run campaigns
    • Support stakeholder engagement
    • Assist with daily marketing tasks

Skills Delivery & Quality Assurance

  • Inter‑departmental Roles (3 posts)
    • Support operational coordination
    • Assist quality‑assurance processes
    • Help oversee programme delivery

Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME)

  • Skills Planning (3 posts)
    • Support research and data analysis
    • Assist monitoring and evaluation activities
    • Participate in sector research

Sector‑Specific Administration

    • Support energy programme coordination
  • Water Sector Administration (1 post)
