What the opportunity is
Eskom is offering the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme to unemployed South African youth. You will work at power stations or Eskom offices in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and the Free State. The roles are fixed‑term, last 12 months and cover administration, finance, human‑capital, procurement, supply‑chain, warehousing, housekeeping and other support areas.
Who can apply (requirements/eligibility)
- South African citizen
- Age 18‑34 years
- Matric (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification (post‑Matric certificates are also considered)
- Not studying full‑time during the contract year
- Not previously employed by the same employer for more than one year
- First‑time participant in the YES Programme
- Available for a 12‑month contract
