Ericsson 2026 Telecom Network Operations Learnership – East London

Ericsson is looking for young South Africans who are out of work and want a start in telecommunications. The deadline is not set, so apply as soon as you can.

What is the Learnership?

It is a 12‑month Telecommunication Network Operations Learnership. You will learn how telecom towers, antennas, fibre and other network equipment work. The programme mixes classroom study with hands‑on work on real sites.

Who can apply?

  • Must have a Matric (National Senior Certificate). Technical subjects are a plus.
  • Preferred: a TVET qualification in IT, ICT, Low Voltage, Telco or Digital Electronics, or a University of Technology qualification in a related field.
  • You need to live in East London or nearby.
  • Comfortable with heights, outdoor work and shift, night or weekend schedules.
