Elangeni TVET College Graduate Internship 2026 – Apply by 28 July

Do you have a National Diploma and are looking for a way to start a career now? Elangeni TVET College, in partnership with ETDP SETA, is offering five graduate internships that begin in August 2026. Elangeni TVET College wants to help unemployed graduates gain real‑world experience, and the deadline is fast approaching.

What the opportunity is

The Graduate Internship Programme is a 24‑month, full‑time placement at Elangeni TVET College’s Central Office in Pinetown, KwaZulu‑Natal. Interns receive a monthly stipend of R6 000 and will be supported in developing technical, professional and public‑service skills that match their qualifications.

Who can apply

  • South African citizens aged 18 – 35
  • Completed Matric
  • Hold a relevant NQF Level 6 diploma (Finance, Supply Chain Management, Public Management, Information Technology, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design or Human Resource Management)
  • No previous formal work experience
  • Willing to commit to the whole 24‑month period

How to apply (step‑by‑step)

  1. Download the New Z83 Application Form from any public‑service department or from the South African government website.
  2. Complete the form in full. Include:
    • Your personal details and contact information
    • The correct position title and reference number (see table below)
    • Your signature and date
  3. Prepare an up‑to‑date, detailed Curriculum Vitae.
  4. Choose a reference number that matches your qualification field and write it on the Z83 form and on your covering letter.
  5. Send the Z83 form and CV to the college:
    • By post – address to the Deputy Principal: Corporate Services, Elangeni TVET College, Private Bag X9032, Pinetown, 3610
    • By hand‑delivery – 15 Portsmouth Road, Pinetown, KwaZulu‑Natal (Monday‑Friday, 07:30‑16:00)
  6. Ensure your application reaches the college before 28 July 2026 at 13:00. Late submissions will not be considered.

Tips to improve your chances

  • Double‑check that you have quoted the correct reference number on the Z83 form.
  • Proofread your CV for spelling, formatting and relevance to the chosen field.
  • Make sure the Z83 form is signed, dated and includes all required details.
  • Do not attach certified copies of your ID, Matric certificate or diploma unless you are shortlisted – the college will request them later.
  • If you have a valid driver’s licence, mention it – it is an added advantage.
  • Send your application early; postal delivery can be delayed.
  • Prepare for possible background checks (criminal record, citizenship, qualification verification).

Next steps after submission

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, usually within eight weeks of the closing date. If you do not hear back by then, you can consider the application unsuccessful.
