Ekurhuleni West TVET College 2026 Internships – Management, Project, IT

Ekurhuleni West TVET College is calling for graduates and TVET students to apply for three temporary internship programmes that start in 2026. The deadline is close, so act now if you want hands‑on experience in management, project work or IT.

What’s on offer?

The college has three positions based at its Boksburg Campus and Corporate Centre in Germiston, Gauteng:

  • Management Assistant Trainee – 18 months, R4 500 per month.
  • Project Management Intern – 24 months, R7 500 per month.
  • Information Technology Internship Programme – 24 months, R98 097 per year.

Who can apply?

Management Assistant Trainee

  • Matric or N4–N6 certificate.
  • Must not have completed another 18‑month internship.

Project Management Intern

  • Matric.
  • Level 7 Bachelor’s, Advanced Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, or an equivalent qualification.

IT Internship

  • Matric.
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology.

What will you gain?

  • Hands‑on exposure to project planning, scheduling, budgeting and reporting (Project Management).
  • Practical skills in hardware installation, network configuration, troubleshooting and user support (IT).

How to apply – step by step

  1. Download the new Z83 application form (effective 1 January 2021) from the official site: Z83 form.
  2. Complete the form carefully. Use the exact position title and reference number (see below).
  3. Attach a detailed CV, three contactable references, certified copies of your academic record, Matric certificate, any N4‑N6 or higher qualifications, and both sides of your ID.
  4. Choose the correct delivery method for each position:
    • Management Assistant – post or hand‑deliver to 49 North Street, Plantation, Boksburg 1460, or email EWCBOK-05-2026@ewc.edu.za.
    • Project Management – hand‑deliver to Corner Flag & Rose Innes Roads, Germiston 1401, Gauteng, or call Ms D Shabangu / Ms N Kunene on 011 323 1600 for queries.
    • IT Internship – hand‑deliver or courier to the same Corporate Centre address, or email EWC-CC8-2026@ewc.edu.za. Contact Ms M M Masela / Ms M L Adams on 011 323 1600 for questions.
  5. Mark your envelope or email subject exactly as follows:
    • Management Assistant Trainee – Ref EWC BOK/05/2026
    • Project Management Intern – Ref ETDP SETA CC 06/2026
    • Information Technology Internship Programme – Ref EWC CC 8/2026

Key dates

  • Project Management Intern – closes 17 August 2026 at 16:00.
  • IT Internship – closes 17 August 2026 at 15:00.
  • Management Assistant Trainee – closes 28 August 2026 at 13:00.

Tips to improve your chances

  • Use the new Z83 form; the old version leads to disqualification.
  • Proofread every section – spelling errors can cost you.
  • Make sure the reference number matches the position you want.
  • Provide three references who can be reached quickly.
  • Submit your application before the deadline. Late entries are not accepted.
  • If you have a disability, note it in your application where relevant.
