The Eastern Cape Provincial Treasury is offering 40 paid internship positions for a period of 24 months, covering the 2026/27–2027/28 financial years. Interns will earn a stipend of R98 097 per year. Most posts are based in Bhisho, with some Municipal Financial Management roles in the Chris Hani, Alfred Nzo, Joe Gqabi and Sarah Baartman districts.
Who can apply?
- South African citizen, currently unemployed.
- Holder of a relevant National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Degree (NQF Level 7) recognised by SAQA.
- Never participated in any internship programme before.
- Must have a National Senior Certificate.
