What the learnership offers

This is a 12‑month, MICTSETA‑funded programme (NQF Level 3) that runs in Kempton Park and Tembisa, Gauteng. You will receive a monthly stipend of R2 500 while you learn essential digital and workplace skills. The learnership begins soon and applications close on 08 May 2026.

Who can apply

To be eligible you must:

  • Hold a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be younger than 35 years
  • Be currently unemployed and not enrolled in another programme
  • Live in Tembisa or Kempton Park

What you will gain

The training covers the basics you need for entry‑level office and IT roles, including:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Data capture and document management
  • Basic IT support and troubleshooting
  • Workplace communication systems
  • Internet and digital productivity tools
  • Cybersecurity awareness

After you finish, you could move into roles such as Administration Clerk, Receptionist, Data Capturer, Office Assistant, Call‑Centre Agent, or Junior IT Support Assistant.
