What the bursary offers
Dube TradePort will pay tuition fees for eligible learners at selected Kwa Zulu‑Natal universities. The funding covers the first, second, third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in the approved study areas.
Who can apply
To be considered you must meet all of the following:
- South African citizen, aged 18‑34.
- Current resident of Kwa Zulu‑Natal.
- Enrolled or intending to enrol in an undergraduate programme at DUT, MUT, UKZN or UniZulu.
- Chosen field of study must be one of: Agricultural Studies (crops & plants), Built Environment, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Strong academic record.
- Demonstrated financial need.
- Not qualify for NSFAS funding.
What you gain
The bursary covers tuition fees for the whole year you are studying. By completing a degree in the listed fields you will acquire skills that are in demand across South Africa’s growing sectors, such as agriculture, construction, engineering and IT.
