What the internship is
The NDZ Municipality Internship Programme runs for 12 months. It gives you hands‑on experience in municipal finance, environmental management and community services. Most interns receive a monthly stipend of R5 000. The Finance Management Intern is paid R75 000 per year.
Who can apply
You must meet all of the following:
- South African citizen
- Live inside the municipality’s boundaries (Creighton, Himeville or surrounding areas)
- Unemployed at the time of application
- Hold a Grade 12 certificate and a relevant diploma or degree for the role you are applying for
- Be able to communicate in English and isiZulu
- Have basic computer skills
