What is the Graduate Internship Programme?

The Department of Transport offers a 24‑month paid internship. You will work in Pretoria or other sites around South Africa, depending on the role. The programme covers many fields such as administration, finance, IT, human resources, law, engineering, transport, aviation, maritime studies, rail, economics and town planning.

Who can apply?

• You must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma.
• You must be unemployed.
• You must not have taken part in any other developmental programme before.
