Right now, the Coega Development Corporation is calling on unemployed South African graduates to apply for its 2026 Internship Programme before the deadline on 25 May 2026.

What the internship is

Coega’s Internship Programme gives fresh graduates a chance to move from the classroom to a real workplace. The placement lasts 24 months and includes structured training, mentorship and coaching.

Who can apply

You are eligible if you meet all of the following:

  • Hold a Diploma (NQF Level 6), Degree (NQF Level 7) or Honours (NQF Level 8)
  • Are younger than 35 years
  • Have no prior work experience in the field you are studying
  • Are energetic, have a strong work ethic and value professionalism
  • People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply

Available positions

  • CDC Board – Internal and Forensic Audit Internship
    Location: Gqeberha, Eastern Cape
    Minimum qualification: National Diploma in Internal Audit
  • ICT – Research and Strategy Internship
    Location: Gqeberha, Eastern Cape
    Minimum qualifications: National Diploma in Information Technology OR National Diploma in Software Development
