What is the Visual Merchandiser Learnership?

This is a 12‑month, on‑the‑job programme. You will work in sales, merchandising, customer service and retail execution within the beverage sector. The learnership counts for at least 120 credits towards a recognised qualification.

Who can apply?

You must meet all of the following:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy – at least 40%
  • English and a second official language – at least 40%
  • South African citizen, aged 18‑35
  • Unemployed when you start
  • Available to work six days a week

Additional conditions:

  • No criminal record or adverse credit history
  • Will consent to ID, criminal and qualification checks
  • Not studying full‑time or already in another learnership
  • Not have completed this same qualification before
  • A driver’s licence and a post‑matric qualification in Sales & Marketing are an advantage

  • Plan and execute daily store visits
  • Set up visual displays that follow brand standards
