There’s a real chance right now to start a career in pharmacy without paying tuition – the Clicks Group Pharmacy Assistant Learnership 2026/2027 is open for South African youth who want practical training and a qualified role after completion.
What the Learnership Is
Clicks Group, through its Unicare brand, is offering a paid learnership that blends on‑the‑job training with formal coursework. You will train at a registered Unicare pharmacy in Cape Town, Western Cape, under an approved tutor and a registered pharmacist. The programme runs for the 2026/2027 period and ends with a qualification as a Pharmacist Assistant.

- At least 50 % in English

The learnership is open to South African citizens or permanent residents who are ready to begin full‑time training in Cape Town.
What You Will Gain
Successful learners receive a salary while studying, a nationally recognised qualification, and a clear pathway into a permanent role. After you qualify you must sign a work‑back agreement – you will work for Unicare as a Pharmacist Assistant for a period equal to the length of your learnership.
