What the internship is
This is a paid graduate internship for Electrical Engineering graduates. The programme runs for two years (24 months) and is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. City Power will host up to 120 interns, giving them real‑world experience in the electricity distribution and energy sector.
Who can apply
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Be younger than 35 years.
- Be unemployed at the time of application.
- Hold an NQF Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Electrical Engineering from a recognised South African university.
- Be academically eligible to register with the relevant professional engineering council.
- Be able to commit to the full 24‑month period.
