City of Johannesburg Student Internship – Customer Care Agent
If you live in Johannesburg and are still studying or just finished high school, you might be able to work for the city’s Transport Department while learning real‑world skills. The internship is part of the city’s Student Internship Circular 005/2026 and lasts up to 18 months. It takes place at 75 Helen Joseph Street in the Old Mutual Building. Minimum Requirements
You’ll need to show that you have:
- Completed Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
- A diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, or a NQF Level 6 qualification.
- No prior paid work experience.
If you have a high‑school certificate and a diploma in one of those subjects, you can apply.
Primary Function
As a Customer Care Agent, your main job will be to help people who contact the Transport Department. You’ll answer questions, solve problems quickly, and keep a high level of quality in everything you do. You should aim to solve issues on the first call and keep records of every interaction.
